Lincoln plans event to benefit local library

LINCOLN — The Lincoln Library will again be selling raffle tickets this year for four box seats at Fenway Park in Boston. This year the game is Red Sox vs. Yankees on Sept. 16. Tickets were generously donated by Hugh Taylor. Tickets will be on sale at various locations including Lincoln Library, Lincoln General Store and the town clerk’s office.
Tickets will first be on sale during the Lincoln Town Wide Sale on Saturday, May 28, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lincoln Library. The drawing will take place during the library’s annual Bobcat Café benefit dinner in July.
Library representative emphasize how important these fundraisers are, allowing the library to bring its patrons quality books, audios, DVDs and more.
