Woman cited after firearm incident
LINCOLN — Vermont State Police cited a Starksboro woman for reckless endangerment and unlawful mischief following an alleged dispute off Atkins Road in Lincoln, during which she allegedly discharged a firearm into a vehicle on July 5.
Katelyn Russell, 27, is scheduled to answer to the charges on Aug. 1 in Addison County Superior Court, according to police.
State police said they interviewed witnesses who alleged that Russell had gotten into an argument with her mother at the Atkins Road address and fired a handgun into a 2013 Volvo SUV, causing damage and recklessly endangering people nearby.
Police said they located Russell at her Starksboro home and cited her for the alleged offenses.
