Genealogy workshop on tap at Ilsley Library

MIDDLEBURY — The Ilsley Library in Middlebury will host a genealogy workshop next Thursday where people can learn how to use the library’s genealogical databases to explore their family history. Those taking part are asked to bring names of a few people they would like to know more about, ideally one or two who might be in the 1940 U.S. Census.
“We will have two experience genealogists on hand to answer your questions — Joan Hoxie and Ann Watson,” librarian Chris Kirby said.
The workshop is from 2-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at the Ilsley Public Library on Main Street. Space is limited.  Register at the circulation desk or by calling 388-4095.
