‘Dinoman’ to present fun fossil facts July 12
BRISTOL — A collaborative effort by the 5-town librarians is bringing some summer fun (and learning) for kids to Holley Hall in Bristol this Wednesday afternoon.
“Dinoman” will offer a trip through the Mesozoic era — a journey of magic, merry mayhem, and magnificent props. Think BIG!
How do we know dinosaurs were here? What is a fossil? How are they made? This program provides fun and informative answers to curious kids of all ages.
Dinoman will talk about the age of the earth, how it is divided into eras, how fossils are formed, dinosaur behavior, and the newest finds. Expect to see dinosaur tracks.
The performance will begin at 2 p.m. and is 40 to 45 minutes long. It is geared to elementary school-age kids, but younger children should enjoy the large dinosaurs, too.
The show, produced in Vermont but shown throughout the country, has garnered praise from the Los Angeles Times and the Wall Street Journal, and has appeared at the largest family celebration in the country — Boston’s First Night — 15 times.
All are invited to enjoy this unique experience offered by the Laurence Memorial, Lincoln and Starksboro public libraries and the Vermont Department of Libraries.
Go tell your friends to join you, too.
