Citizens wanted to serve on Mt. Abe communications committee
BRISTOL — The Mount Abraham Union High School board is forming a committee to do public outreach to support the upcoming bond vote on renovating Mount Abe.
This Communication Committee will develop and implement a plan to communicate the Renovation Committee’s recommendations for renovating MAUHS. The group will inform and engage the five-town community with project concepts and renovation details, such as timelines, costs, etc. leading up to a November 2017 bond vote. It will remain in force until a bond vote is successfully passed.
The committee will be made up of not more than eight people, selected from board and community members who submit letters of interest to the MAUHS board chair by Sept. 8.
If you’re interested in being a part of this committee, mail or e-mail a letter of interest to Mount Abe Board Chair Dawn Griswold at [email protected] by this Friday. Appointments will be made as soon as possible. Once formed, the committee will begin work immediately to communicate the school’s needs and how this bond will serve them.
