Local high school footballers play in all-star game

MIDDLEBURY — The North squad of Vermont high school senior football stars won a shootout with their South counterparts, 57-41, in a game played on Saturday at Middlebury College.
Mount Abe-Vergennes cooperative team athlete Casey Kimball was selected to play defense for the victorious North squad in the all-star game.
Tim Fyles of Orwell, a Fair Haven Union senior, caught two passes for 43 yards for the South squad.
Also selected for the South team were five Middlebury athletes, linemen Jack Deppman, Brian Foote and Jaro Perera; fullback/nose guard Tyler Hotte; and safety/quarterback Cody Pomainville.
