Salisbury news for June 7
SALISBURY — The first concert of the Salisbury Summer Performance Series will be held on Sunday, June 17. This series, now in its 39th season, is sponsored by the church and the community and all events are held in the historic Meeting House located in the village.
The June 17 performance will feature students and faculty from Camp Point Counterpoint’s New Music session. The second performance of New Music students and faculty will take place on Monday, June 18. Both performances begin at 7 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
On Wednesday, June 27, Jean Edgerton will present the first of Salisbury’s Historical Society’s lectures, “History of Waterhouse’s Boat Dock and Marina on Lake Dunmore,” at the Meeting House. It begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Students at the Salisbury Community School will finish the school year on Friday, June 15. Three days were added as make up days.
