Thanks to Angelo for remembering Deane Rubright in such a perfect way. To me, it was not just a reminder of what a rare guy Deane was, and of the great community that Middlebury is, but also that, as the Beatles said, “Love is all there is.” In these times of contentious debate and taking sides, we were all there on the same side for Deane. His enthusiasm, and generosity and humor are all reminders of how much one person’s heart can touch us all.
