Charles Weisenbach, 97, Monkton

CHARLES WEISENBACH

MONKTON — Charles Weisenbach, 97, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury, after a short illness.
He was born October 25, 1923, in Monkton, the son of Frederick and Julia Kandzior Weisenbach.
He was a farmer, trapper, raised chickens and bailed hay. He was a member of Libanus Masonic Lodge in Bristol, 30-year member of Monkton Cemetery Association, and Monkton Florona Grange.
Predeceased by his wives Edith and Thelma.
Charles is survived by his cousins Richard Sherman of Bristol, George Sherman of Bristol, Beverly Ross of Ferrisburgh, Reginald Kandzior of West Virginia, Henry Kandzior of Ferrisburgh, Theresa Charbonneau of Vergennes, Karon Either of Randolph, Florence Jerdo of Keeseville, N.Y., Loren Kandzior of Ferrisburgh, and Sheryl Lavigne of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be Monkton Boro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Libanus Masonic Lodge in Bristol, Attn.  Michael Bushey, Boro Hill Road, Monkton, VT 05469.
