Monkton news for Dec. 3
MONKTON — Monkton Troop 525 is selling wreaths and trees again this year with a few changes. Because of the construction of the new municipal building, the trees and wreaths are now located on the north end of Mountain Road at number 265. You will see a large sign by the driveway announcing that you’ve found the right place! There will be a family on site on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Scouts available to help load your purchase.
You are also welcome to stop by any time to ‘self-service’ shop. Pick out what you like and pay by honor system, putting your payment in the hole in the wall of the shed. Trees are priced at $40 each, while wreaths are $20 each.
Thank you in advance for supporting your local Scouts. If you need assistance or have questions, call George Parker, Scoutmaster Troop 525 at 989-3993 or e-mail [email protected].
