Vermont State Police Log for Feb. 4

ADDISON COUNTY — On Jan. 28 at around 7:20 p.m. Vermont State Police responded to a report of a family fight at a Watchpoint Road home in Shoreham. Troopers investigated and said they determined Richard Quesnel, 35, of Shoreham attempted to cause serious bodily injury to an intimate partner.
Troopers arrested Quesnel and took him to the New Haven barracks for processing. After conferring with a judge, police released Quesnel with conditions and with a citation for aggravated domestic assault.
State police keep a briefer log of daily activity. According to that log, troopers at the New Haven barracks:
•  On Jan. 25 at 1:32 p.m. looked into a report of a suspicious person or circumstance on Bristol Road in Monkton.
•  On Jan. 25 at 2:56 p.m. responded to a motor vehicle complaint on Greenbush Road in Ferrisburgh.
•  On Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. looked into a motor vehicle complaint on Route 7 at Maple Street in Salisbury.
•  On Jan. 26 at 11:57 a.m. checked the welfare of a person on Jersey Street in Panton. 
•  On Jan. 26 at 5:45 p.m. looked into a report of a suspicious person or circumstance on Cross Road in Ferrisburgh.
•  On Jan. 26 at 6:56 p.m. assisted a citizen on Philion Road in Shoreham.
•  On Jan. 26 at 7:21 p.m. assisted a citizen on Route 7 in Leicester.
•  On Jan. 26 at 8:43 p.m. helped out an agency on Airport Drive in Bristol.
•  On Jan. 26 at 9:52 p.m. looked into a motor vehicle complaint on the Orwell/Benson line in Orwell.
•  On Jan. 29 at 2:10 a.m. looked into an alarm sounding on Route 7 in Ferrisburgh.
•  On Jan. 29 at 10:38 a.m. assisted another agency on Hunt Road in New Haven.
•  On Jan. 29 at 12:40 p.m. dealt with a suspicious person or circumstance in Bristol.
•  On Jan. 29 at 2:08 p.m. mediated a citizen dispute on Silver Street in Monkton.
•  On Feb. 1 at 11:21 a.m. investigated a report of larceny on East Street in New Haven.
•  On Feb. 1 at 7:54 p.m. fielded a fraud complaint from Panton Road in Panton.
•  On Feb. 2 at 4:15 a.m. logged a report of a suspicious person or circumstance on Morgan Horse Farm Road in Weybridge.
The New Haven barracks reported no activity on Jan. 27, 30 and 31.
