Slideshow: Chamberlin rocks at Festival

Three Middlebury Union High School graduates returned to town to play with their band, Chamberlin, at Middlebury’s Festival on-the-Green on July 11.
Mark Daly (lead vocals), Ethan West (lead guitar) and Eric Maier (keyboard), along with UVM graduates Chuck Whistler (bass) and Jamie Heintz (drums), formed the band last year, and spent a month between January and February 2011 touring with another Vermont band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. The 30-day, 20-show tour brought them to the Midwest, down the west coast, and even up to Canada for a show in Vancouver. This fall, Chamberlin will return to the road as the opening act for the band Carbon Leaf. They will be back in Vermont for a September show at Higher Ground in South Burlington.
The slideshow features pictures of Chamberlin during their performance at Festival on-the-Green, and a studio recording of their single “Dust” from their debut album Bitter Blood.
