Town Hall Theater to ring in New Year with live music and dancing

MIDDLEBURY — It’s always the biggest New Year’s Eve party in Middlebury, as partiers take to Town Hall Theater’s big dance floor on Thursday, Dec. 31, to dance in the New Year.
Local favorites The Horse Traders will once again serve up a funky mix of pop, oldies, classic rock, soul and country. The stunning vocals of Deb Brisson are backed by Rick Marshall, Jon Rooney, Pete Ryan and John Wallace.
“It’s a great event because for local people it’s so close to home,” says THT executive director Douglas Anderson.  “You don’t need to drive a long way to have a really terrific New Year’s Eve.”
The evening starts at 8 p.m.  THT will offer a cash bar and snacks. A countdown at midnight leads to the ringing of the Great Bell of Middlebury in the THT tower and a complimentary champagne toast.
Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at www.townhalltheater.org, by calling 382-9222, at the THT box office or at the door.
