BRISTOL — Roberta Elsie Leggett of Bristol, Vt., passed away at home Oct. 11, 2026.
Roberta was born Aug. 11,1947 in Middlebury, Vt., to Harley and Elsie (Brileya) Rice. Roberta grew up in Shoreham, Vt. Roberta loved to play golf, crochet, and be with her family and friends.
Roberta worked many years at Goodrich in Vergennes, and after retiring, volunteered at Neat Repeats for several years.
Roberta is survived by her husband, Frank Leggett Jr.; her two daughters, Wendy (Travys) and Danielle (James); her son, Harley; and two stepchildren, Travis and Haley (Nick). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice and Rani Jo; many nieces and nephews; special cousins, Myles and Cheryle Rice; and a special friend, Kathy Taylor.
Roberta was predeceased by her parents, her brother Mark, her first husband Daniel, and son Christopher Clark.
