I am writing in support of Claire Ayer for State Senate. Sen. Ayer has been an effective leader for Addison County for many years. She is responsive to the needs of residents of Addison County and brings much needed leadership an expertise in the Senate.
I have worked with Sen. Ayer regarding legislation and support for children in child care in Addison County and she has been supportive of needed funding for both the organization I work for and for funding for high quality child are in Addison County and statewide. She understands the needs of working parents and the needs of young children. She is always willing to listen and ask for information so that she can make informed decisions.
We are lucky to have someone who is so thoughtful and skilled in the workings of state government, as well as understanding of her constituents.
