NILS ‘ANDY’ W. ANDERSON

FERRISBURGH — Nils “Andy” W. Anderson 85, passed away Aug. 28, 2025, at his home in Ferrisburgh.

He was born April 7, 1940, to Nils and Veta Anderson in Middlebury, Vt. He graduated from Middlebury Union High School and proudly served in United States Coast Guard.

He married Jean Wheeler in 1964, and they lived happily for 60 years in Ferrisburgh and wintering in Florida until Jean’s death in December 2024.

He was a man of many talents and loved the land. He retired from ECI (Engineers Construction Inc.) of Williston, Vt., as a vice president.

He is survived by his five sisters, a brother, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Jean; sister, Marolyn; two brothers-in-law; a niece and a nephew. He also leaves behind dear friends from his neighborhood and friends in Florida.
