Amongst our friends and relatives, Florida makes a troubling impression. Home to disputed elections, toxic politics, unaffordable home insurance, and filled with Spring Break partiers and other dangerous, non-native species, we are frequently asked why we have visited so many times since we became campers in 2013, and why we keep returning.
