Lincoln news for Feb. 29

LINCOLN — Burnham Presents welcomes Larry & Joe to the stage on Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Burnham Hall. The duo is composed of Grammy-nominated bluegrass musician, Joe Troop and Venezuelan Llanera music legend, Larry Bellorín. Together they perform a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music on harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, maracas, guitar and upright bass. The program they offer features a distinct blend of their musical inheritances and traditions as well as storytelling about the ways that music and social movements unite.

Admission is general $15 and generous $20-$25. Doors open at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available.

REMINDER

Town and School District Meeting will be held on Monday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at Burnham Hall. Voting for town and school officers and the Vermont Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Burnham Hall.
