Field hockey teams fall short

In two closely contested games in the past week, both the Mount Abraham and Otter Valley field hockey teams edged Middlebury. Elsewhere in high school field hockey, the Eagles and Tigers both lost to Division I title contenders, while the Otters won on the road to reach .500.
