Lincoln news for Sept. 28
LINCOLN — With the fall season upon us, it’s that time of year when we do some purging of clothes, household items and toys that we would like to pass along to someone else. The Ladies Aid Industria welcomes donations of seasonal clothing, household items, puzzles, games, plants and any other clean items that you’re willing to part with. They are unable to take car seats, electronics, helmets and large appliances.
Donation drop off is Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Burnham Hall. Sale hours are Thursday, Oct. 5, from 1 to 7 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
The Lincoln Ladies Aid Industria raises money through the rummage sales, receptions and dinners to support individual needs, the Lincoln Library, Burnham Hall, United Church of Lincoln, Magicians Without Borders, Turning Point Center, scholarships for summer camps, and the list goes on and on.
