Green Ridge Forest conserved

THE GREEN RIDGE Forest, which is partially in Granville, provides protection against major storms and floods, stores carbon in its trees and soils, and slows the loss of biodiversity. The forest was recently conserved.

One of Vermont’s largest connected and privately-owned forests outside of the Northeast Kingdom — partially in Addison County — has been protected.
