Stationed right next to the Bristol Police headquarters at 72 Munsill Ave., this public health vending machine offers Narcan and other emergency supplies. It's free to anyone who needs it. Addison County residents are likely used to seeing
Addison County residents are likely used to seeing corn growing in local fields, as the crop is a popular one often used by farmers to feed their livestock. While many local farms continue to grow corn and other well-known forage crops for their animals, some have shifted to another option — sorghum sudangrass.

UVM Extension officials note the annual grass crop is drought-resistant and can provide a resilient option for farmers’ forage systems. Sorghum sudangrass was the focus of a recent farmer roundtable hosted by the Middlebury Extension Office, where local farmers gathered to discuss how the crop has performed at their operations.
