Heffernan uses common sense

I write in strong support of Senator Steven Heffernan.

As Vermonters struggle under the state’s affordability crisis, Senator Heffernan has consistently stood up for working families, seniors and veterans. His push for meaningful tax relief reflects a clear commitment to making sure people can afford to live, work and retire here with dignity.

Senator Heffernan doesn’t show up in Montpelier, vote as he pleases and hopes no one notices. He stays connected to his communities, understands that his constituents are struggling and knows taxes aren’t just a lever to fund a wish list.

He has also been a vital voice for rural Vermont. He champions our farms and working lands, defends local control and pushes back on burdensome regulations that penalize landowners and family farmers. He listens to his neighbors and brings their concerns straight to the State House.

Senator Heffernan represents a commonsense, community-first approach to public service. I’m proud to support him and urge others to do the same.
