NEW HAVEN — John Paul Pawul, 63, of New Haven, Vermont, passed away Oct. 12, 2026.
Known affectionately as “Pooh Bear,” he worked for Standard Register and Martin’s Hardware in Middlebury and volunteered with the New Haven and Salisbury Fire Departments.
He was predeceased by his parents, Howard J. Pawul and Elsie Rita (Beede) Pawul.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla; son-in-law, Daniel; grandchildren, Liam and Makenna; sister, Janis; brother-in-law, Paul; brother, James; and nieces and nephews. He is also remembered by his former wife, Missy.
There will be no services at this time.
