Dry hydrant in Frog Hollow is but one firefighting protection

MEMBERS OF THE Middlebury Public Works Department check out the dry hydrant that was installed in the Frog Hollow section of Middlebury to give firefighters access to an abundant water supply in case of a blaze.

A recently installed dry fire hydrant in Frog Hollow will enhance fire safety and provide a supplemental water source in the event of a fire in town, according to the Middlebury Fire Department.
