Letter to the editor: Addison Northeast summer program was a big success

I would like to give a shout out to the teachers and counselors at the Addison Northeast Supervisory Summer program that was held at Beeman Academy in New Haven this summer.

I interacted briefly with staff members at some very busy morning drop-offs. I was so impressed with the joyful atmosphere, organization, and personal attention each camper received as they arrived. This five-day-a-week, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. camp that operated most of the summer was such a fun, educational experience for young students and a great summer job opportunity for many teenagers.

Many thanks to everyone who made it a success
