Women’s lax escapes upset bid

The undefeated Middlebury College women’s lacrosse team won two more games this past weekend, including surviving a scare on Saturday at Wesleyan, when the Panthers erased a two-goal third quarter deficit to win, 10-9. Middlebury also defeated another NESCAC foe, host Hamilton, on Sunday, 12-7, to improve to 10-0 and retain its No. 1 NCAA Division III ranking.
