We urge all voters in the Addison Central School District to vote for Jess Venable-Novak and Ron Makleff as new school board members from Middlebury.

Both are parents of young children and have been attending school board meetings to familiarize themselves with current issues. They are bringing open minds and critical assessment to the governor’s education reform proposals. They are committed to a strong public school system and the value of local schools to their communities. They pledge to work toward a school system in which students and teachers feel they have a voice.

Adding Jess Venable-Novak and Ron Makleff to the ACSD School Board will bring new energy and creativity to our local school system at a time of great challenge.
