South Burlington bests Tiger boys’ hockey, 4-1
MIDDLEBURY — Visiting South Burlington defeated the Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey team, 4-1, on Jan. 22, in the only action during the past week before deadline for this issue of the Independent.
The Tigers were scheduled to host Colchester on Wednesday.
Last week, four Wolves scored a goal apiece against the Tigers, and SB goalie Lynkin Poirier made 18 saves.
Joe Sullivan scored for MUHS, with an assist from Quinn Collins, and goalie TJ Baron recorded 36 saves.
The Tigers will visit Champlain Valley on Saturday and Rutland this coming Wednesday.
