Volleyball splits; setback is first
MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Union High School girls’ volleyball team split a pair of recent matches on the road and had a 5-1 record heading into another road game on Wednesday at Randolph.
On Sept. 13, the Tigers blanked host Vermont Commons School, 3-0, but on Tuesday host St. Albans — the team that ousted them from the 2023 playoffs — dealt them a 3-0 setback.
The Tigers will enjoy a rare home game this coming Tuesday in the MUHS gymnasium at 6 p.m., when Montpelier is scheduled to visit.
