‘Steel Magnolias’ takes the stage

The Middlebury Community Players Company Be will present Robert Harling’s classic American comedy-drama “Steel Magnolias” at the Vergennes Opera House, 120 Main St., Vergennes from Aug. 15-18. The Thursday to Saturday shows will be at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday show will be a 2 p.m. matinee.
