Vermont State Police Log for Mar. 28

ADDISON COUNTY — On Wednesday, March 20, at about 7:30 a.m., Vermont State Police responded to a report of a two-car crash on Route 7 at the intersection with Route 22A in Ferrisburgh. Police said their investigation showed that Joshua Laraway, 48, of Shelburne was driving a 2006 Saturn Vue northbound on Route 7 when he stopped at a red light.

Troopers report that Laraway was followed by a 2005 Kia Sedona driven by Brian Larrow, 36, of Ferrisburgh, and Larrow did not stop. His Kia rear-ended Laraway’s Saturn, damaging the Saturn’s trailer hitch and the Kia’s front end.

Neither driver was injured, but Laraway was taken to UVM Medical Center to be looked at.

Larrow was given a traffic ticket for following too closely, which carries a $220 fine and three points on his insurance.

The investigating trooper is requesting anyone who witnessed this crash to please call the New Haven barracks at 802-388-4919 or leave an anonymous tip online at vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit.
