MUHS hockey players honored

MIDDLEBURY — Two members each from the Middlebury Union High School girls’ and boys’ hockey teams received postseason honors.

From the Tiger girls’ squad, senior defender Lily Finn was named to the Lake Division A Second Team, and junior goalie Ruby Hubbell received Honorable Mention. Finn was also selected to play in the annual Rotary All Star Hockey Classic on March 16, but was unable to participate.

Two seniors from the Tiger boys’ team were selected for the Rotary All Star Hockey Classic — forwards Toby Draper and Eddie Hodde. Both skated for the Austin team that defeated the Harris team, 7-4, with Draper scoring a goal.
