Women’s teams highlight Panthers’ efforts

In Middlebury College athletics over the weekend, women’s hockey nailed down at least the second seed for the upcoming NESCAC tournament, the ski team got a boost from a local Nordic athlete in taking fourth at the Dartmouth Carnival, women’s basketball won to earn a NESCAC playoff home game, men’s hockey split two games to remain in playoff position, and men’s basketball fell short at home and will head out on the road for the NESCAC playoffs.
