Locals among sports hall inductees

The latest class of the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame, announced last week, has three members with strong Addison County connections: longtime Middlebury Union High School field hockey coach Gail Jette; former MUHS and Boston University All-American lacrosse player Alyssa Trudel, a Shoreham native; and state and national champion Nordic skier Andrew Johnson of Greensboro, a graduate of Middlebury College who now coaches the Panther Nordic program.
