Boys’ hoop teams on the upswing

In recent high school boys’ basketball play, Vergennes won twice, including a victory over rival Mount Abraham; Middlebury also won twice to stretch a winning streak to five games; Otter Valley won two out of three; and the Eagles split two other games, including snapping a winless skid.
