Midd field hockey, men’s soccer get top seeds; football wins

In action in the past week the Middlebury College field hockey and men’s soccer teams remained unbeaten and nailed down the top seeds for the NESCAC playoffs that begin this weekend, the football team won big to retain a share of first place in the league standings, while the women’s soccer squad split two outings to finish above .500 overall, but with a league record not good enough to earn a playoff berth.
