BRISTOL — Between April 2 and 8, Bristol police completed 23 foot patrols and one car patrol, conducted three traffic stops and checked the security at Mount Abraham Union High School seven times, at Bristol Elementary School seven times and at local businesses seven times.

Police also processed 10 fingerprint requests, conducted one welfare check and responded to one 911 hang-up call that turned out to be a misdial.

In other recent activity, Bristol police:

• On April 3 received a report of a telephone pole on West Street swaying in the wind. Police reported the issue to the Green Mountain Power emergency crew.
• On April 3 received a report of harassing phone calls related to a previous incident. An investigation is ongoing.
• On April 4 received a dog that was found on Lower Notch Road. Police identified the owner, returned the dog and issued a warning.
• On April 5 responded to a report of a loud argument on Mountain Street. When police arrived, the person involved had already left the area.
• On April 5 responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from Main Street. Police located the vehicle and determined it was not stolen.
• On April 5 investigated credit card fraud on Plank Road.
• On April 6 assisted the Department of Homeland Security with an investigation at the Bristol Police Department.
• On April 6 cited Genevieve Dahlen, 26, of Bristol for driving with a criminally suspended driver’s license following a traffic stop on Stoney Hill Road.
• On April 6 responded to a noise disturbance on West Street and found the individual was experiencing a mental health event. The person declined offered services but resolved their immediate concerns by talking with police.
• On April 7 responded to East Street for a report of a man looking into a vehicle. The man was gone when police arrived.
• On April 7 received a report of a vehicle that was stolen from East Street. The vehicle was recovered in New York City on April 12.
• On April 7 helped someone in need of a ride home from Prince Lane.

• On April 8 received a report of a vehicle that was operating with a juvenile not secured in a car seat. An investigation is ongoing.
