Updated Vergennes Opera House access plan unveiled

THIS PRELIMINARY RENDERING shows the proposed elevator tower and entrance vestibule that would provide handicap access to the Vergennes Opera House on the second floor of city hall and to the offices on the first floor.

A Vergennes Opera House booster and an architect last week told the Vergennes City Council that they’ve updated — and upgraded — the plan to improve accessibility to the second-story city theater and its stage.
