MEG MADDEN

ORWELL — Mushroom expert Meg Madden is back at the Mount Independence State Historic Site in Orwell to lead another of her popular mushroom exploration walks. Held on Sunday, Sept. 18, the walk runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Participants will get the opportunity to look for and learn about mushrooms on Mount Independence, and, if they participated in the walk in June, observe how the mushrooms have changed.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Admission for the event, which includes the museum and all trails, is $6 for adults and free for children under 15.
