Vt. Senate leader aims for U.S. House

Last year, Becca Balint became the first woman and first openly gay person to be sworn in as Vermont Senate President pro tem, second-highest-ranking official of the Senate. Now she’s hoping to become the first woman to represent Vermont in Congress.
