City council backs new zoning
June 2, 2022
After two years of mostly favorable public feedback and a long delay for a rewrite, the Vergennes City Council on May 24 approved, 6-1, new zoning and subdivision laws that, among other items, would ease density and parking requirements in downtown neighborhoods to encourage creation of more housing.
