Alfred Henry “Skip” Wright, 53, of Sadieville, Ky.

ALFRED HENRY “SKIP” WRIGHT

SADIEVILLE, Ky. — Alfred Henry “Skip” Wright, age 53, husband to Debra Roberts Wright of Sadieville, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Ky. He was born to the late Eva Mae Wright in Burlington, Vt., on March 11, 1968. Skip loved cars and worked at Dan Cummins as a car detailer. He enjoyed teaching life lessons and deeply loved his family.

In addition to his wife, Debra, he is survived by his children, Dustin Wright (Amanda) of New Haven, Vt.; Amber Lynne Sunley (William Cole) of Stanton, Ky.; and Christopher Mohan (Jodi) of Cynthiana, Ky.; and grandchildren Kali Wright, Raygan Mohan, Rhylin Mohan and Ruger Mohan. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Doris Roberts of West Addison, Vt.; brothers-in-law Dwayne Roberts and Jeremy Roberts; both of West Addison, Vt., brother-in-law Lucian Pickett and  sister-in-law Sharon Pickett of Panton Vt.; and many nieces  and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend, Rosema (his  dog). He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, William “Skip” Roberts.

Visitation for family and friends was held on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, starting at 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m., at Sadieville Christian Church, with Pastor Scott Meadows officiating. Burial followed the service at Sadieville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dustin Wright, Christopher Mohan, William Cole Sunley, Lucian  Pickett, Donny Sheldrick, and Dwayne Roberts.
