Juliet Burroughs, 86, of Waltham

WALTHAM — Juliet Burroughs of Waltham passed away June 21, 2021, at the UVM Medical Center after a brief illness.
“Julie” was born March 23, 1935 — the third born of six children to Phelps and Editha Burroughs. She was a very talented woman — her favorite hobbies were quilting, knitting and rug hooking.
Julie was a driver for Addison County Transit Resources providing transportation to individuals to medical appointments. In the past few years she became a very familiar face at Project Independence in Middlebury.
Julie is survived by her sisters Doris “Dorie” Panton, Virginia “Ginny” Clark and her brother Alan Burroughs as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Francis “Buzz” Burroughs and Robert “Pete” Burroughs.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 24, at 1:30 at the Gage Cemetery in Ferrisburgh. Julie’s favorite color was red so in her memory please wear something red. ◊
