‘Same But Different’ takes the digital stage Friday

The Middlebury Performing Arts Series proudly presents “Same But Different” on April 2 in a free, virtual broadcast. This collaborative dance-theatre duet between Middlebury dance faculty Christal Brown and Lida Winfield explores the two women’s similarities and differences in a cultural commentary on race, age, and gender. Middlebury’s virtual broadcast will premiere on Friday, April 2, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a live Q&A with the artists. The event will remain available online for a week to enjoy. This event is free and open to everyone.
The performance can be accessed via the Mahaney Arts Center’s Digital Stages, via go.middlebury.edu/digitalstages. Pre-registration available at go.middlebury.edu/pas. The performance is free and open to all, and will remain available online through April 9. For more information call (802) 443-MIDD (6433) or visit middlebury.edu/arts.
Editor’s Note: “Same But Different” was featured in the Jan. 28, 2021 Arts+Leisure section of the Addison Independent.
