Starksboro website offline, back soon

STARKSBORO — Starksboro residents and others interested in the town’s business may have noticed over the past couple of months that the website is down.
“We are making much-needed updates and the site is currently under construction,” the town’s current single-page website says. “We want to serve you well. Please refer to the community Front Porch Forum and our Facebook Page for news and updates. Regular office business can be conducted by phone, email or scheduled visit. Meeting agendas, minutes and forms can be sent to you by request.”
The old site was created nearly 10 years ago, said Starksboro selectboard clerk Rebecca Elder, and it has recently been “limping along, in need of a redesign.”
Late last summer the selectboard began discussing the possibility of redesigning starksborovt.org. By October they noticed a worrisome number of nonworking links and consulted with technical experts, who told them the site was out of date.
The website redesign is in progress and Elder estimated that a shiny new version of starksborovt.org could become available in the next two months.
