Tiger Nordic boys ski to home victory

MIDDLEBURY — Skiing on a loop laid out on Creek Road athletic fields usually used by Middlebury Union High School soccer, softball and lacrosse teams, the Tiger boys’ Nordic squad this past Saturday breezed to a win in a three-way meet vs. BFA-St. Albans and BFA-Fairfax.
The Tiger girls were less successful in a closer competition, finishing third behind the two visiting teams.
The MUHS boys, led by a 1-2-4 finish by Zach Wilkerson, Baxter Harrington and Ben Seaton, respectively, scored 15 points to outpace the St. Albans Bobwhites (25) and the Fairfax Bullets (41)
Lia Robinson finished third to lead the Tiger girls, whose 36-point total trailed winning Fairfax, which edged St. Albans, 24-26.
