Letter to the editor: Just say no to Milne candidacy

I voted for Nixon (big mistake). I voted for Carter (big mistake). I voted for Reagan (much bigger mistake).
Locally, the most important race this year in Vermont is for lieutenant governor. Scott Milne, who has in the past called Sen. Susan Collins his ideological lodestar and said that he was “writing in” Jim Douglas for President, is just not the right person. He has lost three elections and in my opinion, his campaign skills and leadership qualities are very much in question. He has name recognition in the travel industry, but that’s it.
If I voted for Milne, that would be my biggest mistake.
