Ralph Myhre golfers compete locally and away

MIDDLEBURY — Ralph Myhre Golf Course members had a good day on Sept. 8 at a Vermont Women’s Golf Association tournament at the Burlington Country Club. 
Sue Dula was First Place Net winner in Flight Three, and also in that same flight Eva Mastalos and Eileen Sims tied for the third best gross score. Also, in Flight Five Giselle Lafleche tied for the fifth-best gross score.
In regular weekly play at Ralph Myhre, the foursome of Bob Peters, Wade Provencher Ben Andrews and Dave Andrews won the Sept. 9 Wednesday Scramble.
In Sept. 10 Bill Davidson Thursday Men’s Golf the quartet of Paul Politano, Doug Biklen, John Davis and Pete Damone prevailed, with the team of Loyal Broughton, Tom Maxwell, Mike Davis and Marsdin Van Order taking second. Jim Hadeka shot the day’s low net score. 
The foursome of Jill Jesso-White, Dale White, Liz Andrews and Bernie Andrews capped the week by winning the Friday Mixer, with the quintet of John Dula, Sue Dula, Wes Smith, Gail Smith and Harold Strassner finishing second.
