Breakfast on the Farm moves online
VERMONT — Organizers of Vermont Breakfast on the Farm are now accepting registrations for a live “virtual breakfast” to be held on Saturday, May 16, at 9:30 a.m.
“This year we won’t be offering our in-person events because our collective health and safety is the most important thing to all of us right now,” organizers wrote on their website. “Instead, we will bring the barn, the cows, the calves and our interactive experience to you.”
The May 16 event will feature Newmont Farm in Bradford, which is a member of Cabot Creamery Cooperative.
“Husband and wife team Will and Brooke Gladstone … will take you inside their family’s farm,” organizers wrote. “They’ll answer your questions about dairy farming … all while you enjoy your breakfast at home.”
The event promises “fun for the whole family — featuring live animals and a scavenger hunt.”
